What a joy to walk up and enter this Carnegie library landmarked by the central check out station required for all Carnegie constructions. The entrance hosts a list of famous writers carved in the exquisite arch surrounding the door and a Rookwood fountain, donated by the community, sits just inside for decoration.

The individuals serving as librarians are experts and mentors in guiding you through their book collection as well as knowing and meeting community needs. My visit was a day during Spring Break, the consideration given to the children in answering their questions, meeting their needs, and training in library manners was amazing. At the same time, they were able to answer my questions and show me around this beautiful location in the heart of a caring community.
